Recently, I was asked to do some music for a Joel Osteen promotional spot. A funny thing happens in commercial music and often in television and film as well. A composer may be asked to write several different cues so the client has some choice. The music used for this spot was an older piece that I wrote and reworked (first video). The second video (see above post) contains the music that I wrote more recently for it. It’s amazing how different music can enhance different elements of emotion or color in moving picture. See which one you like better.
